The Go Getter Girls
We are the Go Getter Girls. We are a team of six passionate girls who are driven to make the world a better place. We will not wait for adults to make a difference in our world, we'll do it ourselves. We first made this website as part of a robotics project for First LEGO League. As we got immersed in the topic, we realized in this age of technology that this is one of the ways we can make a big difference. Piece by piece, step by step, word by word, we can slowly change the world.

1: It all starts with education
We want to educate kids about why protecting artifacts are important so that they can speak to organizations in their country about preventing looting locally and globally.
2: Budgeting and fundraising is important
In the US, when there is an important cause it comes from private companies/citizens, government, and charitable organizations. Donating to help stop looting is important if we don’t want our past to be erased-possibly even forever! Donating to the AIA (The American Institute of Archaeology) can help protect our culture, and every donation counts, no matter how big or how small.
3: Making sure the artifacts we see in museums weren't acquired illegally
We are the ones holding museums, organizations and collectors accountable, and teaching kids to be upstanders, not just bystanders.
